Though only 250 acres of this rare grape remain, Piquepoul Red has been grown in Southern France for centuries. It is originally from the Languedoc and is one of the 13 grapes permitted in Chateauneuf du Pape. Ours is produced from one grower’s 5 acre hillside vineyard in Cazouls.
Pale pink color. Light bodied and clean with refreshing acidity, bright rose petal aromas and citrus notes.
A dark violet colour with rich concentrated coloured tears on the glass. A fine nose with dark and wild fruit characters of blackcurrants and dark cherry. Some toasted, smoked notes with aromas from the garrigue, rosemary, spice, pepper, peppermint and liquorice. A flattering pretty and complex nose. A ‘gourmand’ attack on the palate, supple and plump. An elegant wine made in a modern style with finesse. Biodynamic, Organic.
A dark black/bluish colour with hints of violet and concentration. A complex nose with toasted notes, nutty fruit style, spices, mocha, chocolate and vanilla pods. Very typical spicy deep style with peppermint, rosemary and finesse. A beautiful fresh richness on the palate which makes the wine seem juicy and fruity. An elegant modern style wine. Very feminine. Deep ruby colour, with a nose of ripe fruit with pepper and liquorice flavours. Ample mouth with fine tannins and marinated red fruit. Very « gourmand » and fruity wine.

Clear light yellow with green reflections. Intense varietal nose of
sauvignon blanc. Fine, lively taste with floral aromas and well rounded flavors. Very balanced. Drink as an aperitif or with fish and shellfish.
Showing loads of red fruits, cedar, ground pepper, and spice characteristics on the nose, it is medium-bodied, chewy, and mouth filling on the palate, with plenty of tannin emerging on the finish. Slightly one dimensional, this nevertheless shows good fruit and has plenty to like. It should drink nicely for 2-4 years. (86 pts.)
Lively and bright clarity, with deep ruby reflections. Initial aromas of red fruits and almonds. As it opens, the nose reveals toasty, vanilla-toned notes of prune and leather, with a spicy imprint of thyme and herbes de provence. Medium-bodied, with dark berry fruit flavors and a dry finish.
